Wonderful location near landmarks, comfortable and lovely furnished rooms, helpful and communicative host, easy access to upper and lower town.

Location is marvellous, 5 minutes walk away from Old Town. It offers central heating, multi-channel TV and a microwave. Staff are helpful, know what the customer wants.

The owner made me feel at home.

We had a really nice stay in Sibiu near to Sibiu's old center, wonderful, traditional restaurants, and Sighisoara. All the facilities were good, and if you need there's public parking nearby...

The rooms are like a modern hotel, with all the amenities you need - free WiFi, a desk, and a flat-screen TV. The double room has a stunning view of the city and the Liar's Bridge, making it a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of Sibiu. I loved the 16th century fresco in the air-conditioned double room, giving it a unique touch and a sense of history. The bathrooms are clean and equipped with a shower and hairdryer, and they even provide free toiletries.

Personally, I found the air conditioning in the double room a bit too cold, but I understand others might enjoy it.

Personnel were attentive, day and night. Enjoyed the kindness and efforts made by the owner nevertheless my bed was a bit small. Had a bathtub. The building was pretty. In the evening I visited Tango Restaurant & Pub, set nearby, for a few drinks. And I was located very close to the tourist attractions.

Tbh, the room was super small.

I greatly enjoyed the stay and would return there. The accommodation was nice and lovely close enough to historical preservation, and the Bridge of Lies. The owner and attentive and friendly staff took care of me. Everything was simply perfect.

Stayed in a spacious attic room with a beautiful view of the old city area. Convenient location, close to popular attractions and within walking distance to everything we needed. - Friendly and helpful host who provided us with a parking space. - Enjoyed the charm of the old building and the historical surroundings. - Clean room with working A/C, making our stay comfortable. - No front-desk, but the owner made sure to personally welcome us and provide us with the keys.

The rooms at Casa Astronomului are like stepping into a modern hotel, with all the amenities you need. The views of the city and Liar's Bridge from the air-conditioned double room are amazing.

Personally, I didn't enjoy the 16th-century fresco in the air-conditioned double room. Others might appreciate it though.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, making us feel comfortable and festive. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the location was central and offered beautiful views of the city. This allowed us to easily explore and enjoy the nearby attractions and restaurants. we appreciated the variety of tea choices available, especially since I caught a cold during our trip.

One major downside was the lack of a balcony, as we would have loved to enjoy the view from the comfort of our own room. We also found it inconvenient that there were many stairs, particularly if you were assigned a room on the upper level.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the old city, just next to the Liar's Bridge. It offers a great location for exploring the town, with the main squares and sights right on your doorstep. the rooms are clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. the bathroom is also clean and offers good facilities.

The common area is shared with other people, which may not suit everyone's preference for privacy and quietness.

I stayed at Casa Astronomului for 2 nights. The room I had was beautifully decorated with an impressive wall fresco and cute original furniture. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the touristic center but surprisingly quiet at night. I loved being able to explore the city on foot and the nearby park and museum were easily accessible. The communication with the host was excellent and the mini kitchen downstairs was a convenient bonus for making hot tea. I had a wonderful and safe experience in this charming Romanian town.

I do recommend this hotel.

Les points forts sont la propreté impeccable de l'hôtel, les installations de qualité, un parking spacieux, un accès facile depuis l'autoroute, et la proximité immédiate de Decathlon pour acheter des articles de ski oubliés. De plus, l'emplacement était idéal pour se rendre facilement aux concerts à La Halle Olympique et faire du shopping. Le personnel était très sympathique et serviable, en particulier au restaurant où nous avons dîné deux soirs de suite.

Rien que nous n'avons pas aimé.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. We could easily walk to all the main attractions and didn't need a car at all. the room we stayed in was spacious, bright, and clean. It had a cozy atmosphere and we especially loved the view from the attic window. Every morning, we enjoyed watching the people strolling by and the Bridge of Lies was just a stone's throw away. In the evenings, we were serenaded by piano music from a nearby café, creating a truly magical ambiance.

There were a few downsides to our stay. the curtains in the room were too small to cover the windows, so we were woken up early each morning by the light flooding in.
